privacy policy
Last updated: December 2025
1. introduction
EzClap ("we", "our", or "us") is a product of Easy Automata LTD. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your data when you use our automation services. EzClap utilizes YouTube API Services to provide automated video publishing features.
2. voluntary integrations ("per-service" permissions)
EzClap is designed as a modular platform. You are not required to connect every service. You explicitly authorize each platform integration (Twitch, Google/YouTube, or Discord) individually. If you choose not to connect a specific service (e.g., Discord), no data regarding that service is collected or accessed.
3. data we collect
Depending on which services you choose to connect, we may collect and store the following:
- twitch data: User ID, display name, and OAuth tokens required to fetch your clips, VODs, and stream schedule.
- google / youtube data: If you connect a YouTube channel, we access and store specific YouTube API Data, including OAuth refresh tokens and video metadata (IDs, titles, and upload status) to facilitate your automations.
- discord data: If you enable Discord sync, we store your Guild (server) ID and specific channel IDs you select for notifications.
- usage data: We log operational data such as job status, error logs, and automation counts to maintain system reliability.
4. device information and cookies
We disclose that we store, access, and collect information directly or indirectly on or from users' devices. This includes placing, accessing, or recognizing cookies or similar technology on your browser or device to maintain secure sessions and save your dashboard preferences. These technologies are necessary for the platform to function; we do not use them for tracking on third-party websites or for advertising purposes.
5. how we use your data
We use your data solely to provide the specific features you have enabled: Twitch imports, Discord notifications, and YouTube video uploads (Shorts). We do not sell your data. We do not use your personal content or OAuth tokens to train machine-learning models.
6. google & youtube compliance
If you use our Google or YouTube integrations, you acknowledge the following:
- Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy.
- By using EzClap, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service and acknowledge the Google Privacy Policy.
- We strictly use minimum scopes:
youtube.uploadandcalendar.readonly. - You can revoke EzClap's access to your data at any time via your Google Security Settings.
7. data sharing, transfer, and disclosure
EzClap does not sell, trade, or rent your Google user data to third parties. We only transfer your Google user data to third-party platforms (Discord and Twitch) when you explicitly enable those integrations and trigger a synchronization task.
We do not disclose your data except with your explicit consent (directing an automation task) or for legal reasons if required by law or regulation.
8. data protection and security mechanisms
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your sensitive data:
- encryption in transit: All data transferred between EzClap and third-party APIs is encrypted using industry-standard SSL/TLS protocols.
- secure database storage: Sensitive access tokens are stored in a private database with access strictly restricted to authorized application processes.
- server security: Our production environment is protected by firewalls and access is limited to authorized personnel using secure SSH and multi-factor authentication.
9. data retention
We retain operational logs and OAuth tokens only as long as necessary to operate EzClap. If you disconnect a service or request account deletion, we will remove the associated personal data and YouTube API Data within 30 days, subject to legal obligations.
