Duo Cam Mode

Duo cam mode lets you put two facecams in a single vertical clip — perfect for co-streams, duo queue sessions, and collabs where both players' reactions matter. It is available to Pro / Partner accounts and lives inside the Clip Wizard.

Requirements

  • A Pro / Partner subscription (see plans and billing).
  • Camera position set to floating (free placement) — duo cam is part of the floating overlay system.
  • A source clip where both cameras are visible on screen (for example, your own cam plus your co-streamer's cam from their stream window).

Enabling the second camera

  1. In the Clip Wizard, import a sample clip and set camera position to floating.
  2. In the camera crop & preview step, check second camera.
  3. A second crop box labeled cam 2 (highlighted in red) appears over the source video. Drag it over the second person's camera and resize it with its corner handles.
  4. Generate a preview, then drag both cam overlays into place on the 9:16 preview — each camera is positioned independently.

Styling the two cameras

To keep the layout looking consistent, both cameras share the same core style. From the floating camera customization panel:

  • Shared between cam 1 and cam 2 — scale, rounded edges, border thickness, and all drop shadow settings.
  • Per-camera — border color (cam 2 border color defaults to a red tone so the two frames are instantly distinguishable) and horizontal mirroring (cam 1 mirror / cam 2 mirror flip each camera independently).

Different border colors are the quickest way for viewers to track who is who, especially when both cams are small.

Alignment helpers

Two snap buttons keep the layout tidy without pixel-hunting:

  • snap cam 2 height to cam 1 — aligns the vertical position of both cams.
  • snap cam 2 side to cam 1 — aligns cam 2 horizontally relative to cam 1.

Combine these with the crosshair and thirds guide overlays to get a balanced two-cam layout, and use arrow keys for fine nudges when a box is selected.

Saving and reusing

Duo cam settings are saved with the rest of your layout. Click save as template to keep a dedicated co-stream template — many streamers keep one solo template as their default and a duo template they load whenever they collab. You can manage and assign these on the templates page.

Clips processed through a duo cam template render both cameras above the gameplay, in the exact positions you set, with captions and branding applied as usual.
