DailyDrop Weekly Schedule

DailyDrop is EzClap's fixed-schedule publishing mode: one clip from your Spotlight queue posts every day at a time you choose — no stream required. It's the "consistency machine" mode, and the one I personally recommend: posting at the exact same time every day trains the algorithm and creates consistent audience growth, even on days when you are not live.

DailyDrop and StreamSync are the two engine modes on the auto-publish page; you run one at a time.

Setting up DailyDrop

  1. Open the auto-publish page and, under engine mode, select DailyDrop.
  2. Set the dailydrop time (local) — the fixed local time the daily post fires (2:00 PM by default).
  3. Choose your posting days. Leave every day checked for a true daily cadence, or uncheck it and select specific weekdays to build a weekly schedule (for example Monday / Wednesday / Friday drops).
  4. Under socials, connect and enable the platforms you want — YouTube Shorts, TikTok, or both.
  5. Click apply settings.

From then on, DailyDrop publishes one Spotlight clip per scheduled day at your chosen time to every channel you enabled.

Which clip gets posted

DailyDrop pulls from the front of your Spotlight queue — the leftmost clip in the Spotlight view posts next, and each queue position shows its expected publish date so you can see exactly which clip lands on which day.

An optional Category Preference toggle (Prefer Stream Category) tries to match the daily clip to your recent stream category first, keeping your feed aligned with what you've been playing. Leave it off to post strictly in queue order.

Keeping the queue fed

DailyDrop needs ammunition:

  • If the queue is empty on a scheduled day, nothing posts — the timeline on the auto-publish page will tell you to add a clip to Spotlight.
  • The timeline cards show the upcoming days, which clip is lined up for each, and what already published.
  • A queue of 7+ curated clips means a full week runs hands-off. The Super Editor is the fastest way to bulk-produce queue ammo from your clip history.

Weekly workflow example

  1. After your streams, good clips sync in automatically; caption and polish the keepers.
  2. Once or twice a week, spotlight the best ones and drag them into your preferred order.
  3. DailyDrop drains the queue one clip per day at your set time.
  4. Check the activity feed occasionally to confirm publishes and review performance.
