Connecting Your Twitch Account
EzClap uses your Twitch account as your login. There is no separate password — you sign in with Twitch, and everything on your dashboard is tied to your channel.
Logging in
- Open EzClap and choose the Twitch login option.
- Approve the authorization prompt on Twitch. You are redirected back to your EzClap dashboard.
- That's it — your account is created on first login, and returning later just requires the same Twitch sign-in.
What data EzClap accesses
The Twitch authorization covers three things:
- Your basic account info and email — used to identify your account and contact you about it.
- Your broadcast information — used to read your clips, your stream category, and your live status so features like StreamSync know when you are streaming.
- Your channel schedule — used by the stream schedule page so your posting automation can follow your real streaming calendar.
EzClap never posts to Twitch on your behalf. Publishing goes to the platforms you connect separately, like YouTube Shorts and TikTok.
How clip syncing works
Once you are logged in and have at least one layout template saved, EzClap watches your channel for new clips:
- A background watcher checks Twitch for fresh clips on your channel every couple of minutes.
- When someone clips your stream, the new clip is picked up automatically — you don't need to submit a link.
- The clip is processed through your default layout template (or the template assigned to the game you were playing) into a vertical 9:16 video.
- The finished clip appears on your Clips dashboard, ready for captions and publishing.
If you don't have a template yet, start with the Clip Wizard — the dashboard will prompt you to create your first template.
Controlling whose clips get processed
Not every clip is worth rendering. In Settings → Watcher Configuration you can choose a filtering mode:
- Disabled — process clips from everyone (default).
- Whitelist — only process clips created by users you list.
- Blacklist — process everyone except users you list.
Use the clipper access list on the same page to add or remove usernames.
Importing older clips
The automatic watcher only picks up recently created clips. To pull anything from your clip history — including your all-time top clips — use the Super Editor, which lets you search, filter, and batch-process up to 10 clips at a time.
